Days of 47

We spent the 24th BBQ'ing at Chris and Alyssa's House. Gage Enjoyed the hammock. In an attempt to be patriotic the boys wore their stripes to church.
And Payton was just a QT in this little outfit. I love those tiny little shoes. I think Gage only wore them once!
In Utah the 24th of July is Pioneer Day. The Pioneers first came into the Salt Lake Valley on July 24th, 1847...It's also referred to as the Days of 47. There are parades all over the state and fireworks. We spent the day at Chris and Alyssa's house having a BBQ. Gage was being a little adventurer with his two cousins and ended up falling on a wood pile. He got a gash in between his eyes...the day before he had fallen into a rose-bush and that Friday Brett had a diving exhibition at BYU he tripped on the bleachers and cut the outer edge of his eye... hence all the bandages in the photos over the week. They've almost all healed now. He's a true boy! That night we went to Heather's office (it's a really tall building) and we were able to see fireworks all over the valley. Liberty Park and Franklin Covey field were the two best.
