It's over!!

This week has been a crazy one. Nathan has three weeks of rotations and this past week was his 2nd. This wouldn't be a big deal because the rotations are only 6 hours a day. This becomes a big deal when it's also also his week on so he had to get 10 hours of work in as well! We decided it would be easiest for him to just stay in Salt Lake for the week because by the time he would commute home it would be time to leave again. He got to the lab each morning at 5:30 and worked until rotations started 8:00-2:00. After this he would finish his work until 10pm. I tried getting meals ready at the beginning of the week because he would be eating 3 meals a day at the lab. I actually over planned, he came home with leftovers. Wednesday we drove to Salt Lake so that we could see Nate at lunch. We decided to have a picnic on the grass in the parking lot.

Payton was also sick this week along with the whole bottle weening... We've been sick in anticipation for this week for months now and now we can say- It's over!!

Grateful for the company... Mom, Brett and Ren came Thursday and stayed until Friday afternoon. The boys sure love their Uncle Brett. I'm always grateful for the company too, or distraction for the kids...whatever you'd like to call it!

I love catching up with you guys...you do such a great job at the blog Erin! Miss you tons! Ashton's heading out there for school this week, so make sure you help her through the homesickness (if she even will have any--independent child:)!
