De got to ride around on the firetruck with Santa delivering the Angel Tree gifts. She made a special request for an additional stop to see two little boys. I was nervous thinking that they would like to see the truck more than the the jolly red-suited man that stepped out of it! They did really well, though. When Santa asked Gage what he wanted for Christmas Gage said "toys" anything in particular? "Nope just toys." Easy enough. Payton just sort of stared but that's better than screaming and running in the other direction ;)
The next day De got a few concerned calls from neighbors about the flashing lights ( I think it's sweet that her neighbors are that observant...and concerned) she assured them all it was just Santa stopping by for a visit.
