Ward Auction

The end of April we had our annual Ward Dinner and Auction. This year theme was CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY!

All the proceeds from this night fund the Youth's camps and activities for the ENTIRE year! We have such a supportive ward. So many people donate their time, talents, and know-how to make the night and each of the items auctioned off a success. For example: a couple in the ward donated a brand new, never used ping pong table to be auctioned... but when it came time to bid no one had room for it in their home, or already owned one. When no one bid the price kept going down lower and lower. It got down to $50 and still no one would buy it. Instead of letting it go for nothing Bishop got up and asked if anyone would be willing to put $10 towards the table to be left at the church to use for our ward game night that we have once a month. Hands shot up everywhere. The table ended up going for over $140.
