Busy Bees on the Farm

On May 4th Gage's preschool went on a field trip to the Morgan Family Farm. Payton and I got to join them on the expedition.
In the above picture Caroline told Gage that he needed a farm too.
"But my parents don't use animals around the house so I don't need one." Nice.
Gage didn't like the smell of the cows so he hung back covering his nose at first. Payton jumped right into the action feeding them hay.
Gage still covering his nose.
He really liked feeding the horses, though.
Payton kept holding out the grass, "Here cow here... eat your food!" Apparently we need to spend more time around some animals!
They got to feed the fish. It was so fun to watch the kids scream with delight when the fish came splashing to the surface to get some grub.

They patiently waited for their turns to go down a big slide that went down the hillside. Payton kept trying to but in line... we've got a lot to learn before he starts school!

We had a wonderful time! It's such a beautiful place. They host weddings and receptions and families gather there to take pictures... I'm hoping that's where we'll get ours taken soon.
