We were going to make a day of it. A FUN FILLED FAMILY DAY!
Starting with a stop at ARUP for my knee appointment.
This ended up with a trip to the University of Utah hospital for X-rays. They think I have early on-set arthritis.
Joy.
Then we went to RC Willey for free hot dogs and drinks instead of buying lunch... yep that's how we roll.
Gage threw up in the garbage can before we left. A nice little girl working at the hot dog stand brought him a glass of water. It was really sweet of her.
Then it was down to the aquarium to use the free passes I won. Only to get there and see there was a line around the block to see the new otters. I also looked at our passes and realized that they had expired. Perfect.
After promising the boys a day filled with fun... and up to that point not so much had been fun. We decided to go to the car show. We were just going to see Grammie and Papa for a minute when they came out.They're shopping for a new car.
The kids had a wonderful time... so did Nathan. This picture below kills me! The best part is the guy in the background laughing at Nathan's head sticking out the sun-roof LOL eco-cars aren't really made for people over 6 feet tall I guess.
This is the one Dave & Judy were set on buying but after a test drive they went with a 2012 Honda Hybrid instead.
The kids were pretty excited to meet Bumble-Bee
and THRILLED to meet Mater
They LOVED the jeep display especially the JEEPS in their size.
It ended up being a pretty fun day... not at all what we planned but fun none the less :)
