A Trade

Do you have projects that have been on your 'TO DO" list for - ever?

Well I did. So me and my Sister in law Beth decided to do something about it. Each week we do a trade off. One day at my house one day at hers doing a project of our choice. Sometimes it's something fun (Painting a room that we've been dying to get done, help making cookies for a 12 treats before Christmas exchange, etc) other times it's things that we NEED to get done (again treats before Christmas lol, dishes, general cleaning, etc.) but we're more likely to check things off our list if we have a time set for the other to come give a helping hand.  

The first project we did at her house was turn a not very functional closet into a super organized pantry. WITHOUT spending any money. We had to get creative but we did it and it's amazing!! I'm hoping that this will turn into a weekly post about the projects we've tackled. Painting my room was first up on my list and after I fell in love with the blue so did Beth. She, however wanted a brown wall as well so that's what we did Her blue is a little bit less gray than mine and more blue but the brown seriously looked like chocolate syrup in the can.

Their room is very narrow and the different color actually makes it seem longer some-how. Either way she loves it and I'm glad. The girls were super cute that day. Emily screams with joy when Kaitlyn comes over. This is them busting moves to music on the radio. It was ADORABLE!!
