Family Time

We had many opportunities for Family time this month. It seems like every weekend there was someithing going on that required a visit. Which is fine with us! We celebrated Jeff's Birthday and St. Patty's day with the Sandersons.

I made rainbow pancakes (including gold pieces for the treasure) for breakfast. It was a hit with the kiddos for sure!
And we had corned beef and cabbage for dinner. It was our first test of fitting as many as possible around the table... and it was a success!

Some photos from Family Home Evenings:
We made an altar out of Krispy Kremes as we learned about Lehi building an altar to thank the Lord for helping his family.

We also got to bury our weapons of war...

Inside a German Chocolate Cake that is :)
As we learned about the people of Ammon keeping their promise not to fight.
It's so fun to see the kids grasp these stories each week. I'm so happy we found this book that makes learning so much fun with treats!
